What is the best way to celebrate your fiance birthday? In a heavenly resort in the Maldives! Twice voted ‘Best Hotel in the World’ our luxury Maldives resort is the perfect escape in paradise.
Last year me and my fiance Veiko celebrated his birthday at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort. After this fascinating experience, we totally agree with the rest of the world. This is the best hotel in the WORLD.
Set on 2 separate islands connected by a bridge, the luxurious Conrad Maldives Rangali Island offers spacious private villas.
This is a true storyl blog and accompanied with my word experience and pictures that actually make a difference to the usual advertising-marketing stories. We went there in August, spent 5 days in this paradise, the weather wasn’t so good, we had sunshine only 2 days, but we didn’t mind, we had the best time ever. We were just alone creating a perfect environment to a spent some great quality time! of course in the best destination… the Maldives always helps 🙂
Rangali Islands have now 3 separate islands 1.5 is human-made. 2 Islands are for guests and 1 is for the employees. 2 Holiday Island is connected with the bridge were in the middle was a seaplane landing track.
We had a private villa with a garden and a huge pool with only a few minutes to the warm Indian ocean. The Villa own big private courtyards with whirlpool tubs and shower in the garden. Each villa has maximum privacy, with touches such as candles in the bathroom and a handy beach bag with suncream in before you head down to the beach.
I tried for the first time X-Jetblade. I put on heavy boots, and you could feel the power of hydro flight firmly under your feet. It was 45 minutes of fun under the water and above the ocean. I definitely would do it again if I have the perfect conditions like warm water and paradise.
We had every day of unforgettable and outstanding gastronomy experiences. The resort has 12 restaurants and bars. The most in-demand tables are at Ithaa Undersea restaurant, this is my entire next blog subject for all of you my readers!
One day we had a romantic beach barbeque champagne and lobster night. A table set up right next to the beach with a beautiful candlelit decoration. Even the ride to that location was amazing with a private hotel mini car. It is literally dinner under the stars. You can just stand up from the table and walk to the ocean! With a perfect date, it’s the best experience in life. Of course, the food was fresh and delicious!
he next day was unfortunately raining but we were lucky enough that the last night we spent it at an Underground Wine Cellar. The first of its kind in the Maldives, descend two meters underground where 20,000 bottles of wine and up to 1,400 labels – the most in the Maldives – are expertly preserved. Here is the setting for your five-course, a paired degustation menu, hosted by the island’s head chef and chief sommelier.
Sitting next to 12 guests as you’re guided by the head sommelier on an interactive journey, presented on personal video screens, through the old and new world wine regions. One of the evening highlights included a blind tasting of three wines during the main course.

One day we enjoyed a late lunch at the Mandhoo SPA Restaurant.
Our organic menu was arranged according to the five elements: air, earth, fire, water, and plants. Each with a specific taste, temperature, level of moisture and density. And its associated cuisines designed to affect the body, mind, and spirit in different ways.
The nourishing, detoxifying, relaxing and fortifying characteristics of these elements are found in our menu.
You also FEED YOUR SOUL. Set on stilts above the Indian Ocean at The Spa Retreat, our award-winning restaurant is a total delight for all senses and soul. Dining with stingrays and baby sharks swimming underneath with their daily feeding at 1.30pm.
Stories and rumours that the Maldives islands are disappearing are wrong! If you are flying with seaplane you can see how many new human-made islands are created and even same goes for the Rangali island, they are just expanding it all the time taking sand from the sea and gathering it together and make more island and bigger islands. So don’t worry you still have time to visit them.
